Feeding Frenzy
(2013)
Over the past few decades, Americans and Europeans have been drowning in a surplus of cheap, processed food. The result has been a widening global epidemic of obesity-related health problems. Feeding Frenzy is the first documentary of its kind to focus squarely on the pivotal role marketing has played in the spread of this epidemic. Picking up where a number of recent high-profile films about the food industry have left off, Feeding Frenzy zeroes in on the sophisticated tactics the global industry now employs to keep unhealthy processed food flowing into the global marketplace despite growing awareness about its dangers.
